There are thousands of organisations you can notify on the Moveinout platform. Not only do we notify national service providers, but we also notify local service providers such as doctors, opticians, dentists and many more!
You can use the Moveinout service even if you have moved already, just let us know the date you moved, and we'll get everything sorted.
We would recommend notifying all organisations 3-4 weeks before your move date.
To notify a change of address, you will need:
- Your name and contact information
- Your old and new address
- The date of your move
Some organisations may require additional information, such as an account number. This will allow them to promptly find your details and update their records.
You can easily find and request a service provider on the Moveinout platform, after we have received your request, you will get an email saying the supplier has been found and added. You can then notify them from your Moveinoutdashboard.
We will proceed to notify your service providers of your new address. If you have notified any financial organisations, we will send you prepopulated letters for you to sign and send in a prepaid envelope. This is for security reasons.
Most service providers send confirmation of your address change, this can be by email or letter, it depends on their internal policies. Government services can take up to 5 weeks to send you confirmation of an address change. We recommend giving it at least one week for all other service providers.
